Time To Teach™  and TLC Educational Solutions On-site Workshops

TLC Educational Solutions schedules on-site workshops at locations across the United States. An On-site workshop is 6 1/2 to 7 hours (including lunch which some schools elect to have as a working lunch in order to maximize the time) and consists of slide presentations, discussion, interactive activities, handouts and a training manual.

Time Teach On-site workshops include:

  • Classroom Management Strategies That Work!
  • Differentiated Instructional Strategies for Student Motivation and Engagement

The seven hour seminar counts as the seat time for a 1-3 credit college graduate level course that is an option to take for participants

TLC Educational Solutions Seminars include:

  • Creating a Highly Engaged and Effectively Managed Classroom Environment
  • Building a Motivated Student Learning Environment through Engagement & Modeling
  • Guiding Instruction Using Formative Assessment Strategies
  • Promoting Higher-Order Thinking skills with Engagement & Motivation
  • Developing Quality Assessments
  • Developing Classroom, School, or District Writing Across the Curriculum

All of these On-site workshops are led by Dr. Patricia and Terry Crum. You get two trainers for the price of one!

Our impact goes much further and deeper than on just student learning.  In addition to an improvement in student behavior following our training, schools also report 1) a rise in teacher job satisfaction, 2) a rise in student scores, 3) a decrease in referrals, 4) a decrease in dropout rates and suspensions, 5) an improvement in the feeling tone in classrooms and throughout the building, and 6) that our strategies have allowed them to finally achieve the systemic cultural change they had been seeking for so long.

  • "I thought that Time to Teach was very helpful.  Over a lot years in education with many workshops and in-services, it was refreshing to attend one that tied so many of the different methods together.  It always feels good to have what I am doing in the classroom reviewed and affirmed. I appreciated that we didn't have to sit and listen all day.  The group activities were productive and enjoyable."
